RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
Contestants from around the world converged on Norway this past weekend to compete in the World Beard and Mustache Championship. Categories include natural goatee, sideburns freestyle, and Hungarian mustache. The top prize went to Elmar Weisser of Germany and his facial hair sculpture of a moose. Weisser's no stranger to victory. He's won twice before with beard recreations of the Brandenburg Gate and London's Tower Bridge.
It's MORNING EDITION.
