The College I attended (Bryan College-Sacramento-Massage Degree Program) pretty much lied with a smile on their face and I am stuck with a $24,000 student loan. It was a 2 yr program and half way through they changed the class schedule and fired the good teachers and replaced then with inexperienced instructors. The 2nd half of the program classes were just recapping on the 1st half and there were a lot of personal arguments between students and staff during that time as well. They forced me to give massages when I was sick, favored A students, told me to sit outside when I challenged the facts and constantly made me feel discriminated against because I was outspoken and wanted to make sure I got my moneys worth of education. I felt locked in because of my contract. So my repayments for my loan start July 2011 and Im trying to figure out if theres a way I can have the loan cancelled due to poor education provided or discriminating or at least have the loan amount cut in half because the 2nd half of my schooling was not new information. Should I get a lawyer? File a complaint? Not pay it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
